1. About this policy

1.1 This Payment Policy is part of the Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") between you and Eight Galaxies, trading as Code Creations ("Eight Galaxies", "Code Creations", "we", "us" or "our"). It applies to any Paid Plan. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.

1.2 Nothing in this policy affects rights you have as a Consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.

3. What you pay for, and what you never pay for

3.1 A Paid Plan is a software package or separately selected subscription for the features and capacity described at checkout. The Three Slot Package provides base development tools and three project creation allowances; bespoke features, upgraded animations, certification and third-party publication are not included unless expressly agreed in writing.

3.2 No gambling payments. No payment to us is, or will ever be, a wager, bet, stake, deposit, entry fee, purchase of chips or tokens, or a payment into any player balance or gambling fund. We do not hold money for you or for anyone else, provide a wallet, or process payments from the players of your games.

3.3 Demo Credits. Demo Credits can never be purchased, earned for value, sold, transferred, redeemed or exchanged for money or anything else of value, and no Paid Plan includes or converts into Demo Credits of any value.

3.4 A Paid Plan does not change any game outcome, math model, RTP or maximum win, and it does not improve the chances that a Creator Game will be approved by any Third-Party Platform or regulator.

4. Plans and limits

4.1 The Three Slot Package shown below is a one-time software purchase. Check the final order summary before paying; it identifies the price, included creation allowance and available payment method.

The Three Slot Package includes three successful new project creations. Each new slot, new imported project, duplicate or renamed copy uses one available Build Credit. Projects that already existed are not charged retroactively. Deleting a created project does not return its credit. Any statutory refund or remedy is handled separately under section 9.

4.2 Before you buy, the Service will show the plan's price, billing period, features, limits and renewal terms. What is shown at checkout, as confirmed in your order confirmation, forms part of your contract.

4.3 Choose the final name first. The game name is locked when the project is created. To use a different name, create a new slot or renamed copy using another available Build Credit or a separately granted creation allowance. Updating, saving, applying changes to, recalculating or exporting the same existing project does not use another Build Credit, and an unsuccessful creation does not consume one.

4.4 Build Credits are creation allowances, not currency, transferable tokens, player credits or a promise of regulatory approval. Complimentary administrator allowances are recorded separately and are not payments. Storage, concurrent-project and other technical limits shown in the Service also apply; having a free storage slot does not restore a used creation credit.

5. Payment processors

5.1 Available live methods may include a Stripe-hosted card checkout, PayPal checkout and verified ETH or USDT transfers on the network explicitly shown in the invoice. Only enabled methods can be selected. A processor's terms and privacy policy also apply. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

5.2 Use only a payment method you are authorised to use. You authorise the software purchase and total amount that you confirm at checkout. The Three Slot Package is a one-time $5,000 USD charge for three build credits. This authorisation covers only the order and disclosed total you approve; it does not authorise access to other funds in your bank, PayPal account or wallet, or further purchases. A recurring charge requires a separately selected subscription with its renewal terms disclosed before you agree.

5.3 Cryptocurrency. A crypto invoice fixes the amount, receiving address, network, expiry and any required transaction reference for that invoice. An ETH conversion uses the quoted rate shown before confirmation; any exact-amount adjustment for a USDT invoice must also be shown. Send the exact amount using the instructed wallet and transaction data, before the quote expires, and allow for network fees. A transfer must pass the configured verification and confirmation requirements before it creates paid credits. Transfers on the wrong network, to the wrong address, for the wrong amount or outside the quote conditions are not automatically credited and may require investigation; recovery is not guaranteed. We do not initiate a new transfer without your wallet confirmation. Where a refund is legally due, we will arrange it consistently with your statutory rights; the fact that a blockchain transfer cannot be reversed does not remove a right to a refund from us.

5.4 PayPal identity and agreement checks. Before using PayPal-funded credits to create a slot, you must complete the identity and agreement checks presented for that purchase, including verification of photographic identification through the designated secure hosted provider and an electronic signature accepting the applicable Terms. PayPal-funded creation remains unavailable where the required secure verification flow has not been configured. Do not upload identity documents as artwork or other project assets, or send them through an unsecured channel. Before verification starts, the flow must identify the provider, required information, purpose, retention and applicable privacy disclosures. Our Privacy Policy and data-rights page describe general privacy rights; they do not mean that a particular identity provider or collection flow is already active.

5.5 Identity checks, signatures, delivery records and project acknowledgements help document authorisation and supply. They do not guarantee PayPal Seller Protection, prove that every contractual obligation has been fulfilled, or waive PayPal Purchase Protection, applicable card-issuer dispute rights or statutory remedies.

6. Prices, currencies and taxes

6.1 Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any bank, card or currency conversion fees your payment provider charges.

6.2 Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. We will add value added tax, goods and services tax, sales tax or similar taxes where the law requires, based on the information you give us. If you are a business customer, you may need to give a valid tax identification number, and reverse-charge rules may apply.

6.3 Receipts and invoices will be available in the Service or from our payment processor.

7. Automatic renewal

The Three Slot Package does not renew automatically. The recurring terms below apply only to a separately selected recurring subscription, if offered.

7.1 Paid Plans paid by card or another recurring payment method renew automatically at the end of each billing period, for the same period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. We charge your payment method at or shortly before the start of each new period.

7.2 At checkout we will clearly show the renewal terms and ask for your consent to them. Where the law requires, we will send reminders before renewals and tell you how to cancel.

8. Cancellation

8.1 The Three Slot Package has no renewal to cancel. For a cancellation or refund request, contact legal@8galaxies.com and section 9 applies. For a separately selected recurring subscription, use Plans & billing, the processor's customer portal when available, or the same email address.

8.2 For a recurring subscription, cancellation stops the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. It does not delete your Account or projects. Deleting a project or Account is not a request to reverse a payment and does not automatically restore a used Build Credit; this does not affect statutory cancellation or refund rights.

8.3 A request for a different game name requires a new project or renamed copy, not an additional charge for editing the original project. Any required creation allowance is shown before you confirm the new project. Cancelling an uncompleted creation request does not use a Build Credit.

9. Refunds and the right to cancel

9.1 Final payments, subject to protected rights. Software payments are final and we do not offer a general change-of-mind refund for used or unused package features. A successful project creation uses its build credit; later deleting the project does not automatically restore that credit or refund its price. This policy remains subject to mandatory cancellation and consumer rights, applicable payment-provider protections and decisions, an express refund commitment, and remedies where software or services are faulty, misdescribed or not supplied as agreed. Payment purchases the stated software access and creation allowance, not a completed bespoke game, guaranteed approval or guaranteed commercial result.

9.2 Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK: cancellation rights. Where applicable consumer distance-selling law gives you a 14-day cancellation period, you can cancel within that period without giving a reason. Immediate access does not by itself waive that right. If we ask to start supply before the period ends, any request, consent and acknowledgement required by law must be obtained separately and clearly:

1. for services, you must expressly request an early start; any proportionate amount payable on cancellation and any loss of the cancellation right after full performance depend on the conditions required by law; and
2. for digital content supplied without a physical medium, loss of a cancellation right on starting supply requires your prior express consent, acknowledgement of that consequence and the required contract confirmation.

Accepting general Terms, confirming a project name, using a build credit or clicking a project-creation acknowledgement alone is not the separate consent described above.

To cancel under this section, send us a clear statement at legal@8galaxies.com before the 14-day period ends. We will refund any amount due, less the value of the service already provided where the law allows, within 14 days after we receive your statement, using the same payment method and without any fee. This right is in addition to your other statutory rights, including any cancellation rights that apply to renewals.

9.3 Other statutory rights. If the Service is faulty or not as described, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under consumer law, such as the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the consumer laws of EU member states or the Australian Consumer Law. This policy does not limit those rights.

9.4 Our discretion. We may, at our sole discretion, give a refund or credit in other cases. Doing so does not oblige us to do so again.

9.5 Termination without breach. If we close your Account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund prepaid fees for the unused part of the Paid Plan, including unused creation allowances where applicable, as section 17.3 of the Terms provides. Other mandatory remedies remain available.

10. Failed payments and chargebacks

10.1 If a payment fails, we or our processor may retry it. If it still cannot be collected, we may suspend Paid Plan features or move your Account to the Free plan at the end of your paid period, and section 12 applies.

10.2 If you think a charge is wrong, contact legal@8galaxies.com first so that we can investigate and put things right. If you start a chargeback or payment dispute, we may provide your Account and billing records to the processor to respond to it. Where a chargeback is found to be unjustified, we may suspend your Account and, to the extent the law allows, recover the amount due and reasonable costs. Contacting us first is not a condition of exercising a protected dispute right. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights or applicable PayPal or card-issuer protections.

11. Price and plan changes

11.1 Changes to the price or included creation allowance of a one-time package apply to future purchases, not to a package already purchased. For a recurring subscription, we will give at least 30 days' notice of a price increase or material reduction, or longer where required by law, before it takes effect at the next applicable billing period.

11.2 If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before it takes effect. If you continue after it takes effect, you accept the change.

12. Downgrades, expiry and your data

12.1 A one-time package does not expire merely because a monthly billing period ends. Once its creation allowance is used, another allowance is needed for a new project. Saving or exporting existing projects does not consume additional credits, subject to valid account access, licence and technical limits. Separately selected recurring plans follow the cancellation and expiry terms disclosed for them.

12.2 If you then exceed your new plan's limits, for example by having more projects than it allows, we will keep your existing projects, but you may not be able to create new projects or use features beyond those limits until you are within them or you upgrade.

12.3 We will not delete projects solely because of a downgrade or expiry without giving you at least 30 days' notice and a chance to export them. Deletion of your Account and data is otherwise governed by the Terms and the Privacy Policy.

13. Trials, promotions and business customers

13.1 Any free trial, discount, coupon or promotion is subject to the terms shown when it is offered. Unless those terms say otherwise, a free trial that requires a payment method turns into a Paid Plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends, and we will tell you this before the trial starts.

13.2 If you buy for a business, we may agree separate written terms, such as invoicing or payment terms, which will prevail over this policy for their subject matter.

14. Disputes, changes and contact

14.1 Disputes about payments are governed by section 23 and section 24 of the Terms. The limitations of liability and the indemnity in sections 19 to 21 of the Terms apply.

14.2 We may change this policy under section 27 of the Terms. Changes do not affect a billing period that you have already paid for, except where the law requires.
